Do Other Languages Say Ow? [Solved]
This sound shows up in many other languages – Dutch, German, Latvian, Portuguese, and others have a word spelled au that sounds like our “ow.” (German also has an aua that opens back up.) Some of them also have an “ai” word. Sometimes the tongue touches.
